I’m an engineering leader with 15+ years building distributed systems and the teams behind them. As CTO and Director of Engineering at Shippify, I lead the technology behind a last-mile logistics platform that runs in Brazil and across Latin America.

My work sits where architecture meets operations: platforms that hold up at peak, cloud costs that make sense, and engineers who ship with confidence. I started on hard algorithmic problems like clustering and route optimization, and I still see good technology leadership as creating clarity: clear priorities, clear architecture principles and clear ownership, so teams can move fast without breaking what matters.

  1. 2013 – now

    Shippify

    CTO & Director of Engineering

Joined as one of the early engineers and grew with the company to CTO. Today I lead engineering for a last-mile logistics platform across Brazil and Latin America: product engineering, infrastructure, security and FinOps.

  2. 2015

    Zigo

Ride-hailing for local taxi fleets, Ecuador

Designed the architecture from scratch, with real-time dispatch and NoSQL storage built for live latency and concurrency.

  3. 2014 – 2015

    Criptext

    End-to-end encrypted messaging

Worked on the core Android app and the SDK that let other developers integrate its encryption layer.

  4. 2013 – 2014

    Innovative Venture (HASH)

    Mobile-first video messaging

Built looping-video messaging close to the hardware with the Android NDK and frame-by-frame sampling.
